Mike Meadors Bio
Mike is from Round Rock Texas just a little north of Austin. Over the past seven years after being truly saved, Mike draws upon his 30+ years of music experience in creating music not only to share the wonderful Gospel of our Lord and Savior but also to testify to what Jesus has done for him and can do for others. Mike's music is a unique blend of Gospel, Rock, Blues and Contemporary Christian music. With powerful vocals and blistering guitar licks, Mike creates a unique blend that appeals to a large variety of audiences.

Born in 1964, Mike gained a desire for making music as early as 5 years of age. Mike started with a simple plastic 4 string ukulele and picked up guitar at age 9 and never looked back. All throughout high school he played in the Jazz band. as early as the age of 17, he performed in local spots with several bands in the secular club and bar scene. Mike spent the next 20 years in many different bands playing a wide range of music genres from classical to jazz, rock and country.

Mike grew up in the church until the age of 13 and turned away from where he was always destined to be. However, there are no mistakes in God's world and Mike returned to God's mercy, love and grace. After returning to the Lord and fully accepting Jesus, Mike now knows why he maintained that desire that was placed on his heart to keep making music. Even after being told by so many to "give it up" and "you'll never do anything big with it", Mike didn't listen and continued to follow the desire. Without question, it is God's will for his life. Mike will always remember the bible passage that was the confirmation of his calling to use his gifts in service of Jesus and for God's greater glory.

Isaiah 43:10 "You are My witnesses, says the Lord, and My servant whom I have chosen, that you may know Me, believe Me and remain steadfast to Me, and understand that I am He. Before Me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after Me"
Another special passage for Mike is Psalm 33:3, "Sing to him a new song; play skillfully, and shout for joy."
